Production Process
- Raw Material Preparation: Molybdenum concentrate is roasted and reduced to extract high-purity molybdenum powder, which is pressed into molybdenum billets.
- Preliminary Processing: Molybdenum billets are forged and hot-rolled to form molybdenum plates with uniform thickness, preparing for subsequent cold rolling.
- Precision Cold Rolling: Adopting multi-pass cold rolling process to gradually thin the molybdenum plates to the target foil thickness, controlling the reduction per pass to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Vacuum Annealing: The cold-rolled molybdenum foil/strip is placed in a vacuum annealing furnace to eliminate processing internal stress and improve material ductility and high-temperature stability.
- Finishing Processing: Through trimming, cleaning, testing and other steps, finished molybdenum foil/strip with bright surface and precise dimensions is obtained, accompanied by a material inspection report.
